Join us for a relaxed two-part workshop where you’ll create up to two custom ceramic berry baskets—perfect for summer fruit, farmers market hauls, or simply adding charm to your kitchen. Hosted by PotteryChicago, this hands-on experience is beginner-friendly and designed for creativity, conversation, and summertime fun.
What to Expect:
In Part 1, held at our studio, you’ll learn hand-building techniques to shape your berry baskets from clay. You can make one or two baskets, depending on size and your pace—no experience needed!
In Part 2, we’ll meet outdoors in Lincoln Park to glaze your creations using brush-on colors and patterns. Bring your own food and drinks to enjoy a picnic with others! Afterward, your pieces will be fired and ready to enjoy.
