A Creative 2-Part Workshop with PotteryChicago + Chicago Book & Social Club
Join us for a cozy, two-part hand-building class where you’ll sculpt your very own set of custom ceramic bookends—designed to bring charm and personality to your bookshelf. Hosted by PotteryChicago in collaboration with the Chicago Book & Social Club, this hands-on workshop invites you to tap into your imagination and create miniature book nooks—think tiny armchairs, stacked books, little windows, plants, and more!
What to Expect:In Part 1, you'll learn basic hand-building techniques to shape your bookends from clay. No experience is needed—just bring your creativity! In Part 2, you’ll return to add glaze and color to your pieces, making them completely your own before they’re fired in our kiln.
