What to Expect

This workshop is perfect for anyone who has never tried pottery and is curious to explore the craft. In this 90-minute pottery wheel class, you’ll dive right into hands-on ceramic work, learning essential techniques like centering, shaping, and forming your own pieces. While we’ll primarily focus on making bowls, other creative forms will be introduced for those who’d like a bit more of a challenge. Pricing Options: 1️⃣ $45 Standard Option: Includes a clear glazing coat applied by our staff and all of your pieces fired and ready for pickup in 3 weeks. This is the simplest option if you prefer not to glaze your work yourself. 2️⃣ $60 Glazing Class Option: If you’d like to customize your pieces with a special glaze design, you can book a separate glazing session within 30 days of your workshop date. During this follow-up class, you’ll learn how to glaze your pieces by hand. We’ll explain how to schedule this glazing session when you attend the workshop. Please note: glazing session must be at least one week after your wheel-throwing class to allow for drying time. Finished pieces will be held for 60 days after they’re ready before being discarded if not picked up. 💡 Why Small Classes Matter: Our wheel classes are designed with beginners in mind and capped at 13 students to ensure personalized attention and hands-on instruction.
