🍵 Matcha Sundays: Pottery for Tea Lovers Create your own matcha essentials in this 4-week pottery course inspired by centuries-old Japanese tea traditions. 🌀 Whether you're new to clay or already on your pottery journey, this hands-on class lets you craft functional, beautiful pieces to use in your matcha making at home: Matcha bowl (chawan) Whisk holder (chasen kake) Matcha canister (nakama) Over four Sundays, you'll explore a variety of techniques—from wheel-throwing and handbuilding to glazing—while building a unique set you’ll actually use. 📌 Please ensure you can attend every Sunday, as we’re unable to offer makeup classes for these specialized sessions. Thank you! 🗓️ Schedule: Sundays in October 2025 @ 11:00 AM (Starting October 5 — please plan to attend all sessions) 1️⃣ Oct 5 – The Matcha Bowl (Chawan): Learn wheel-throwing fundamentals 2️⃣ Oct 12 – Matcha Canister (Nakama): Handbuild using coil techniques 3️⃣ Oct 19 – Whisk Holder (Chasen Kake): Practice taller forms on the wheel 4️⃣ Oct 26 – Glazing Session: Finish and food-safe all three pieces 💲 Cost: $130 Includes materials, instruction, and glazing for up to 4 pieces.
