🎨 Course Description This 6-week pottery course is perfect for anyone looking to start a new hobby, refine their skills, and meet like-minded people! Work in a fun, supportive environment while making functional, personalized pieces for your home. 🌟 🏺 Course Schedule | Sundays at 11:00am, 2 hours per class, running June 1–29, plus flexible glazing time in July | $190 Note: Classes run every Sunday in June, offering a consistent and relaxing weekend rhythm. Glazing happens on your schedule in July, so you can take your time. 😊 Week 1 (June 1) — Throwing Part 1: Learn the basics—centering clay, forming cylinders, and crafting simple bowls. 🏺 Week 2 (June 8) — Coil Building: Explore hand-building techniques to make mugs, bowls, or sculptural pieces. 🌀 Week 3 (June 15) — Throwing Part 2: Refine your skills with taller forms, even walls, and detailed shaping. 🏺 Week 4 (June 22) — Throwing Part 3: Learn trimming techniques and how to add footers (bases) to your work. ✂️🖌️ Week 5 (June 29) — Skill Recap & Refinement: Review and refine what you’ve learned while making your final pieces. We’ll also cover glazing techniques and the full firing process. Includes both Hand-building and Wheel Throwing—perfect to focus on what’s best for you! 🎨✨ Week 6 (Flexible Glazing Time in July 🌿) — No rush, no pressure! You’ll receive up to 4 hours of studio time (split across 2 sessions) in July to glaze your work during any of our open hours. 🖌️✨ 🛠 Materials All studio tools are provided during class. Want your own? Add $20 to receive a personal tool kit (10 essential tools for throwing & trimming) plus an apron to keep. 🔧 💡 Why Small Classes Matter With just 13 students per class, you’ll get personalized instruction, hands-on practice, and the chance to connect with fellow pottery lovers.
