Good to know

+Do I need any experience?

Nope. Every night is a guided project with an instructor walking you through it start to finish.

+When can I glaze?

Glaze days run Dec 15 to Jan 9 (closed Dec 24, 25, 30, 31 and Jan 1). Your glaze day has to come after all four of your project nights, so if your last night is Dec 20, pick a glaze day from Dec 21 on. It is a 3 hour session (6 to 9 PM on weekdays, 12 to 3 PM on weekends), BYOB welcome.

+Will my pieces be ready for Christmas?

Pieces need about a week after glazing to fire. Glaze early in the window if you are hoping to gift them. Later glaze days are ready for pickup in January, and we hold pieces for 60 days.

+Can I pick the same project twice?

Each project can be in your course once. Most projects run on two or three different days so you have more date options. Pottery Wheel runs on weekends (Saturdays 12 PM, Sundays 1 PM) as the wheel option.

+Can I change a night after I book?

We staff and prep every class based on registration, so we cannot reschedule on the same day. Email potterychicago@gmail.com at least 48 hours before your night and choose another open project night in this course.

+Can I book with a friend?

Yes. Add up to 4 seats in one order and you will all come to the same nights.
