Good to know

What will we make?
Mugs, bowls, small vases — whatever the wheel gives you. We'll help you shape something you'll actually want on your shelf.
How does the glazing night work?
Pick any date on our regular glazing calendar, 5 to 35 days after your wheel night. Same calendar every other student books from — real flexibility to find a night that works.
Do we need any experience?
No. Most couples who come through have never touched a wheel. That's half the fun.
What is included?
Both wheels, both nights, all clay, glazes, tools, and both firings.
Is $120 per person or per couple?
Per couple. One reservation is $120 total and reserves two wheels, facing each other, for both of you.
Can we bring a drink?
Yes. BYOB, bring whatever you like.
Can we book more than one couple?
Yes — increase the number of couples at checkout. We only take 8 couples a night, so it fills up.
What if we can only make the wheel night?
Book it alone and glaze together any time in the next 35 days, on any open glazing session. Email potterychicago@gmail.com.
When do we get our piece?
About ten days after you glaze. Pick a pickup time at thepotteryloop.com/pickup.
Where is it?
1770 W Berteau Ave, Suite 407, in Chicago's Ravenswood neighborhood. 7 to 9 PM.
