Matcha Mornings
Overview
Matcha Mornings is a 4-week pottery course on Sunday mornings designed for tea lovers interested in creating their own traditional matcha tools. Whether you're new to clay or continuing your pottery journey, this hands-on class guides you through making a complete matcha set: a matcha bowl (chawan), a whisk holder (chasen kake), and either a sip mug or matcha canister. Over four weeks you'll learn wheel throwing, handbuilding, and glazing techniques, all while creating functional pieces you can use at home. Small class sizes (maximum 13 students) ensure personalized instruction and plenty of hands-on support. Classes meet Sundays from 11:00 AM–1:00 PM, beginning March 8th.
