[Saturdays] Household August Handbuilding Course

Overview

Household August is a 5-week handbuilding course inspired by the useful pieces you actually want at home — no wheel required. Classes meet Saturdays from 2:00–4:00 PM, August 15 through September 5, with default group glazing on Saturday, September 12 and flexible glazing through the month. Week 3: choose a lemon juicer or a berry bowl during class. Week 5 is glazing with custom designs so every piece is food safe. Up to 12 students. All tools and materials are included; optional tool kit $20.

Refund Policy

Non-refundable 5 days before the start. A $25 cancellation fee applies before this. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult who is also enrolled in the course.

    Chip & Dip Plate

    Slab-build a serving plate with an integrated dip well — perfect for entertaining.

  2. Week 2Aug 22

    Spoon rest

    A handy kitchen spoon rest shaped and textured by hand.

  3. Week 3Aug 29

    Lemon juicer or Berry bowl

    Pick during class: a citrus juicer with reamer and spout, or a berry bowl with drainage holes.

  4. Week 4Sep 5

    A bunch of mini magnets!

    Fill your fridge with a set of playful handmade mini magnets — food icons, florals, and more.

  5. Week 5Sat · Sep 12

    Glazing

    Glazing it all with custom designs to be food safe! Default group glazing on Saturday, September 12. If you cannot make this day, schedule a different day before September 19. Pieces ready on the usual timeline after firing.
