Summer Markets is a 5-week handbuilding course inspired by your local farmers market. Choose Wednesdays (waitlist/full) or Thursdays — same projects, same price. Thursdays begin June 4, 2026 at 6:30 PM.

Overview

Summer Markets is a 5-week pottery course inspired by the sights, smells, and textures of your local farmers market — no wheel required. The Wednesday section (June 3–July 1) is fully booked. The Thursday section meets 6:30–8:30 PM starting June 4 with the same weekly projects: sip mug or planter, wall vase, berry basket, charcuterie board, and a July glazing session. Select your day on the enrollment page before checkout. All tools and materials are included; optional tool kit $20.

Wednesdays (June 3 start): This section is fully booked. Thursdays (June 4 start) still have 12 spots available — select Thursdays below to enroll.
Refund & attendanceShow

Non-refundable 5 days before the start. A $25 cancellation fee applies before this. Participants under 18 must be accompanied by an adult who is also enrolled in the course.

    Sip mugs for morning bevs or planters

    Choose your track: a sip mug for morning drinks or a planter — pinch pot and handbuilding fundamentals.

  2. Week 2Jun 11

    Wall-mounted vase

    Build a wall-mounted vase using coils and slabs with an eye toward display and drainage.

  3. Week 3Jun 18

    Berry basket

    Slab and coil techniques for an open berry basket form.

  4. Week 4Jun 25

    Charcuterie board

    A slab-built board sized for snacks, cheese, and market treats.

  5. Week 5Jul 2

    Glazing (flexible in July)

    Glazing session on July 2, with flexibility to finish glazing during open studio time in July if needed. Food-safe glazes; pieces ready on the usual timeline after firing.
