[Wednesdays] September 6-Week Pottery Course

Overview

This 6-week pottery course is perfect for anyone looking to start a new hobby, refine their skills, and meet like-minded people! You'll create functional, personalized pieces while learning both wheel throwing and handbuilding techniques. Classes meet Wednesdays at 6:30 PM with flexible glazing anytime in October (Oct 1–31). Weeks 2 and 5 focus on handbuilding of all types — pinch, coil, and slab — so you can make mugs, bowls, planters, chip-and-dip plates, bookends, magnets, ash trays, and more. Courses are kept small, at 13 students, to ensure personalized instruction. Most students finish 5–6 final pieces (maximum of 6 to ensure kiln space). All tools and materials are included, with the option to purchase a personal tool kit for $20.
