Everyone leaves this one with a mug — a proper one, with a sip top and a handle you shaped to your own grip. We build it by hand rather than on the wheel, so there's no learning curve to get through first: you'll roll and cut a slab for the body, join the seam, pull a handle, and cut the opening in the lid. The sip top is the part people fuss over most, and it's the part that makes the mug feel like yours. 2 workshops included, one price. Workshop 1 is making: two hours, small tables, an instructor working around the room the whole time. Workshop 2 is glazing: come back for a fun BYOB night out to add your designs and make your mug food safe. Only have time for one class? Choose staff glazing instead and we'll glaze it for you in the color you pick. If something comes up and you'd prefer staff glazing, we can absolutely change it, just let us know in studio. Clay, tools and glazes are included, and we fire everything for you. It's a good first ceramics class and a very good one to bring a friend to.
