Custom Chip & Dip Plates
One plate, two jobs: a wide shallow well for chips and a smaller raised cup for the dip, joined so nothing slides around when the bowl gets passed. You'll roll and cut the slab, shape the rim by hand, and build the dip cup separately before scoring and joining it — that join is the whole trick, and we'll show you how to make it hold. The rim is where people get personal: press a texture into it, scallop it, or leave it clean. Two hours, tools and clay included, instructors moving around the room rather than demoing at the front. We fire it for you and it's ready at the studio about three weeks later. It's the piece guests pick up and turn over.
