Your day by the lake
Start with a walk with Chicago Girls Who Walk at 10:30 AM, then join us for Pottery in the Park at noon. Bring all of your picnic supplies and drop them off before the walk — our staff stays with your things while you're on the walk. If you'd like to do just the pottery picnic without the walk, that is perfectly okay too.

Meet at North Ave Beach by the Chess Pavilion at 10:30 AM. The guided loop is about 2.8 miles along the lakefront — easy going, all paces welcome.

Paint custom trinket trays with studio glazes and brushes under our tarps.

Quick intro + glazing demo
Beginner friendly — we walk you through color and design.

Wrap up by the lake
We collect pieces for firing at The Pottery Loop studio.

Your ticket covers the walk and pottery — attend either or both.
Picnic drop-off
Leave supplies with our staff before the walk; pick them up for the noon picnic.
Pottery ~2 hours
Noon to 2 PM glazing by the lake — relaxed, picnic-style pace.
BYOB
Bring snacks and drinks. We set up the tarps.
All sales are final and no refunds are offered. You may transfer your booking to another person with at least 72 hours' notice before the event. No changes within 72 hours; no refunds for no-shows.
