Pick the session that fits your weekend. In this beginner-friendly 90-minute wheel class you'll learn to center, open, and shape clay with hands-on guidance — and keep one matcha bowl (chawan) for firing and glazing.
Part 02 — The BYOB Glazing Picnic

We meet picnic-style at sunny North Ave Beach to glaze your bowl outdoors with studio glazes and brushes. BYOB — bring your own drinks and snacks (21+ to drink, please sip responsibly). Prefer four walls? Glaze with us in the studio on Saturday, August 1 instead — just let us know at your wheel class.
Part 03 — The Matcha Crawl
Old Town crawl with Mylai Matcha

Straight from the glazing picnic, we head to Old Town for a guided matcha crawl with Mylai Matcha — sip your way through the neighborhood's best matcha spots with fellow matcha lovers.

- 90-minute pottery wheel class (July 18 or 19)
- Fresh clay, tools, and hands-on instruction
- BYOB glazing picnic at North Ave Beach (or studio, Aug 1)
