Custom Glazed Yarn Bowl

A yarn bowl keeps a working ball of yarn from rolling across the floor — the curled slot in the side feeds the strand out as you knit. Ours are already thrown and bisque-fired, so this session is purely about glazing yours. Choose from the studio glaze wall and pay attention to the slot and the interior, since that's the surface the yarn runs against and a smooth glaze there matters more than it looks. We'll explain how each glaze moves in the kiln before you start. About an hour, no experience required, and a genuinely good gift for anyone who knits or crochets. We fire it and it's ready for pickup at the studio in roughly two weeks.
